Comic Detectives is about anything and everything comic book related. We enjoy collecting, playing the video games, watching the movies, following the storylines, enjoying the art and are devoted to supporting the industry any way we can. ComicsDetectives.com is designed to do just that!
Comics, Graphic Novels, Manga, Collectibles: This is what we do. Buy, sell, read, and review and so on. Aside from ComicsDetectives.com we run the Comics Detectives eBay store where we sell all of the above as well. You can find us by clicking Comics Detectives to see all we have to offer!
Marvel has just launched the follow up to Avengers vs. X-Men #0 of March 2012, the culmination of Fear Itself, X-Men: Schism and Avengers: The Children’s Crusade. If you are an avid comic collector like me, then you probably own all the issues of each of these storylines and can understand why AvX is so exciting!
But Avengers vs. X-Men is exciting regardless. I mean, we all love crossovers don’t we!? Featuring the return of Phoenix Force, the surfacing Age of Ultron, New Avengers, Secret Avengers, X-men and a battle royal spanning a 12-issue limited series we are in for a ride!
However if you are like me it is hard to just sit there after reading an issue and wait for the next bi-weekly release. I mean I am a collector and I need something to collect! The good news is this isn’t the first time we have seen the Avengers vs. X-Men battle.

PRO’s know a thing or two about comics and I am not just talking “comic history” type stuff. The true PROfessional knows inside the operation right down to logistics. This is exactly the information you MUST know if you are collecting Classics Illustrated.

Quickly and accurately grading comics is essential especially in a negotiation setting. The problem is it isn’t as intuitive as one might think. In some respects it is probably much more stringent than you would expect and on the other hand you may be under grading potentially selling yourself short.
